One of the many things which makes the work that C.D. Illuminations brings to your environment unique and reliable is the products used that can not be found at do it your-self centers, where you will find lower quality items, using quick connecters and brushed steel materials. These low quality components, with time, corrode from dampness and are easily disconnected by contact from gardeners, weather and pets. The units that we use are professional grade and we only use silicone based wire nuts.

The fixtures that we use are copper and brass. Copper is a natural metal that has a length tested exemption to oxidation. It has been used in several applications where it was vital that rust and corrosion would not affect its function. Copper has endured infallible with the exception of turning a beautiful natural patina or verde color.

Brass is an alloy derived from Copper which also has the same corrosion resistant properties. Both copper and brass will never rust, corrode or rot no matter how harsh the environment is. That is why this is our preferred choice for your outdoor lighting.
